2019 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge

The APNC will be judged according to ASVO standards. The judging panel will score on a 100-point scale, with the highest pointed wine from each region (of gold medal standard, 95 points or higher) eligible for the overall champion 2019 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge Trophy.

The top regional wines will be poured at the presentation dinner in Melbourne on Thursday 21 November at Cumulus culminating in announcement of the 2019 APNC Trophy winner.

2019 National Wine Show of Australia

National Wine Show of Australia is Australia’s premier national wine show. The Show invites entries from across Australia in premium classes for table, sparkling and fortified wines. 
​The purpose of the Show is to judge and promote the best of the best Australian wines. Wines must qualify through Australian regional and capital city wine shows, and special purpose competitions, to enter the premium and single vineyard classes. These classes are open to award winning wines only. 

2019 Mornington Peninsula Wine Show

The MPVA Wine Show is a regional wine show which aims to support excellence in the local wine industry. The objective is to show only Mornington Peninsula wines within a system which the Australian wine industry recognizes, and where we can ensure the integrity of the system within our region.

    Petaluma Winery, 254 Pfeiffer Road, Woodside.

    Deliveries to warehouse at the back of the winery, enter through yellow door and place samples on the labelled wine show pallet.

    Please affix the carton delivery note onto your cartons.  Entries submitted must have AHWS supplied labels attached clear of the commercial label.

2019 Geelong Wine Show

Now in its 21st year, the Geelong Wine Show celebrates a very special anniversary milestone, bringing together large and small producers from across the Geelong Wine Region showcasing the quality and diversity of their wines.

This years show is to be held at Waurn Ponds Estate, Deakin Geelong, Waurn Ponds.

This event is an essential benchmarking opportunity in the wine industry and this year’s wine show will welcome Judges - Jen Pfeiffer (Winemaker - Pfeiffer Wines), John Harris (Winemaker - Mitchell Harris) and Liam O'Brien (Sommelier - Cutler & Co.)

A key emphasis on the Wine Show is to use the Show as a learning and development opportunity for the region’s winegrowers.  Entrants will be provided with written feedback to exhibitors who were unsuccessful in securing a medal for their wine that could be drawn upon in future wine making decisions.

2019 MGA Insurance McLaren Vale Wine Show and James Halliday Grenache Challenge

Chaired by David Le Mire MW, with International judge Sarah Ahmed from The Wine Detective, the McLaren Vale Wine Show is open to entries for all wines from the McLaren Vale GI.

The James Halliday Grenache Challenge is open to all Grenache wine producers throughout Australia.

The McLaren Vale Wine Show trophies and Bushing King/Queen will be presented at the Winemaker's Bushing Lunch at S.C. Pannell in McLaren Vale on Friday the 25th of October 2019.

The James Halliday Grenache Challenge results will be announced on Friday the 1st of November 2019.
